Fugitive apprehended in Sullivan County

SUMMITVILLE – A Summitville man was arrested on a charge of felony grand larceny and for being a fugitive from justice in the state of North Carolina. Gregory Myers, 31, was also wanted for being in violation of his parole.
State Police said the arrest stemmed from an investigation into a reported larceny of $2,410 from a residence in Summitville. During the investigation, it was determined Myers was assisting a homeowner in Summitville with some work around her home and it is alleged that she took money without the owner’s consent.
Myers was sent to the Sullivan County Jail without bail pending a future court appearance.
