Fight in Newburgh apartment leaves one man beaten

NEWBURGH – Police are investigating the beating of a man inside a Lake Street apartment shortly before 6 p.m. Wednesday.
The victim was transported to the hospital and it was not immediately learned if a suspect had been taken into custody.
Police Chief Daniel Cameron said the incident involved an assault with no weapons involved.
What precipitated the attack could not be learned Wednesday night.
