POUGHKEEPSIE – Municipal officials on both sides of the Hudson River along with Walkway Over the Hudson officials Monday unveiled Discovery Zone signs in Dutchess and Ulster counties.
Walkway Executive Director Elizabeth Waldstein-Hart said it is all part of the Walkway Experience.
“The Discovery Zone areas were selected and the signage designed and written to showcase the different neighborhoods, some of the cultural attractions and some of the historical sites that are available to Walkway patrons and the rest of us in the areas of Poughkeepsie and Lloyd,” Waldstein-Hart said.
Partnering to fund the signs were Scenic Hudson, Dutchess County Regional Chamber of Commerce and the Walkway.
