Four indicted in Yonkers murder

WHITE PLAINS – A Westchester County grand jury indicted four men in connection with the shooting death of a Yonkers man last year.
Michael Nolan was ambushed in the early morning hours of September 18, 2015 while outside a car in the parking lot of the Burger King when another car pulled up alongside him. Six shots were fired with one bullet striking Nolan in the head.
He languished in the hospital until declared dead on October 9.
On Wednesday of this week, the four suspects were arrested. Nashaun Hunter, 17, of the Bronx was charged with murder and criminal possession of a weapon. Garth O’Neil Cole, 22, was charged with assault and criminal possession of a weapon. Darren Dawson, 18, of the Bronx, was charged with assault and criminal possession of a weapon and Tejmitra Singh, 23, of the Bronx was charged with assault and criminal possession of a weapon.
The charge of murder brings with it up to 25 years to life in state prison. A person convicted of felony assault could get a maximum of 25 years in prison and a charge of criminal possession of a weapon could bring up to 15 years in prison.
