DOVER PLAINS – A Wassaic man has been arrested and charged with felony grand larceny for withdrawing over $3,000 from his dead mother’s bank account.
Christopher Frenyea-White, 34, was arrested on Friday, arraigned and released to the supervision of the Dutchess County Probation Department.
An investigation by the State Police, begun in January, looked into several suspicious withdrawals from a dead person’s checking account at the M&T Bank branch in Amenia.  It was determined that during 2015, Frenyea-White had made several purchases and cash withdrawals from the Dover branch ATM from her dead mother’s account.
Frenyea-White was arraigned and released to the county probation department.
