Wesley Hills man kills wife, himself

WESLEY HILLS – Police in the Town of Ramapo are investigating a murder-suicide that occurred Thursday morning.
Police received a 911 call from a man who stated he had just shot his wife. That call came from 2 Deerwood Road in Wesley Hill at 7:11 a.m.
As officers arrived moments later they heard gunshots and found the 65-year-old man on the rear deck of the house. He had shot himself and made his way back into the residence where other officers secured him.  He was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern where he died.
The case remains under investigation.
