COLD SPRING – Police have arrested a Highland Falls man with a lengthy rap sheet, for public lewdness after he allegedly exposed himself to a woman in the Butterfield Memorial Library in Cold Spring.

The Putnam County Sheriff’s Office said Thompson has an extensive criminal record, including convictions in Florida for burglary, automobile theft, felony drug distribution, battery against an officer and rioting, and a conviction in Georgia for fraud.
