HIGHLAND – A Highland
resident has been committed to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $100,000
cash bail or $250,000 bond following his arrest on four counts of felony
criminal possession of a forged instrument.
Bryan Vargas, 32, is alleged to have falsified documents from New Paltz
Town Court and Town of Hyde Park Court.
Lloyd Town Police said Vargas was arrested last week after he ordered
food over the phone using someone else’s credit card number without
that person’s knowledge.
