KINGSTON – The sales of single-family homes in Ulster County rose by less than 100 in 2015 as compared to 2014.
The Ulster County Board of Realtors reported that 1,334 homes were sold in 2014 while 1,412 were purchased last year.
The average selling price declined by about $6,000 in 2015, going from $240,682 in 2014 to $234,783 last year.
The days on the market remained constant at 151 in 2015 compared with
149 the year before.
In December alone, sales dropped by one, from 144 in 2014 to 143 this past year. The average selling price rose, though, going from $235,580 in 2014 to $262,402 in 2015, according to board statistics.
