Worker suffers serious hand injury in industrial accident

TOWN OF WALLKILL – A 20-year-old
employee at ProBuild Liquidation Center in the Town of Wallkill suffered
a serious injury on Monday afternoon when a piece of his glove became
entangled in a chop saw blade pulling the glove and his left hand into
the saw.  
Town Police said the victim, a Town of Wawayanda resident, was transported to Orange Regional Medical Center by Town of Wallkill Volunteer Ambulance Corps.
Wallkill Police and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration are investigating the incident.
