Woman killed when car hits stopped bus

MONSEY – A woman was killed Wednesday evening when the car she was driving crossed lanes on Viola Road in Monsey and struck a stopped bus. There were no passengers on the bus when the crash occurred at around 7:15 p.m.
Ramapo Town Police said Tziporah Unger, 57, who was alone in her car, was transported by Hatzolah Ambulance to Westchester Medical Center where she died hours later.
The investigation is continuing.
