Cortlandt man arrested on felony assault charge following domestic dispute

CORTLANDT – A Cortlandt man is in the Westchester County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bail following an investigation into a physical domestic dispute that occurred on Tuesday.
Troopers said the victim sustained a large laceration on her head after Alvin Banks, 52, allegedly threw a ceramic bowl at her during the altercation. The victim required medical treatment.
