NEW PALTZ –
A lone bandit held up the Empire State Savings bank branch at 275 Main
Street in New Paltz on Saturday morning.
A man walked into the bank, threatened the use of a firearm and demanded
money. He made off with an undetermined amount of cash and was last seen
walking in the direction of Henry W. DuBois Drive.
The investigation is continuing and anyone with information is asked to
call New Paltz Police at 845-255-1323.
New Paltz Police were assisted in the investigation by State Police and
the Ulster County Sheriff’s Office.
