BEEKMAN – State Police on Wednesday arrested a San Antonio, Texas man on a felony charge of course of sexual conduct against a child as a felony.
In May, a former Beekman resident reported a sex offense that occurred some 10 years ago in the town. An investigation revealed that Christopher Wustrau, 25, allegedly sexually abused the victim when she was between the ages of seven and nine years old.
A warrant was issued for Wustrau’s arrest and with the assistance of San Antonio Police he was taken into custody in Texas on July 15. He was returned to New York on July 22 and sent to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $100,000 cash bail or $200,000 bond.
