State releases funding for two area facilities

ALBANY – The Walkway Over the Hudson connecting Highland and Poughkeepsie is going to receive $189,000 from the state Empire State Development Corporation.
Windham Area Recreation Foundation will receive $247,875 from the state agency.
The funds are part of nearly $17 million being disbursed by ESD to grow and sustain 22 projects around the state that are spurring economic growth and opportunity.
The largest grant will go to MediaMath in Manhattan. The digital advertising management business will use up to $5.8 million to create 1,000 new jobs and transfer 200 employees from its current headquarters and two other New York City offices to 4 World Trade Center.
