Police look for registered sex offender

TOWN OF POUGHKEEPSIE –Police in the Town of Poughkeepsie are looking for a registered sex offender, who has failed to register a change of address as required by virtue of his being on the state sex offender registry.
Thadius Jones was convicted in January 2010 of felony sexual abuse.
Poughkeepsie Police said he is wanted for failing to register a change of address, failure to appear for 90 day registration s required by state law, and failure to provide a current photo as required by law. All three crimes are felonies.
Jones is described as black, five feet, nine inches tall, weighing 200 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
If anyone has information about his whereabouts, they are asked to call Town of Poughkeepsie Police at 845-485-3666.
