POUGHKEEPSIE – Police in Poughkeepsie are investigating several recent vehicle break-ins on the south side of the city. They occurred on streets off Hooker Avenue in the area of Grubb Street.
Purses, wallets, laptops and other electronics were taken.
Residents are reminded not to leave valuables in their vehicles and if they must be left inside, they should be placed in the trunk.
Residents are also encouraged to be observant of suspicious people and activities and to call city police to report anything out of the ordinary.
