Monticello man charged with stealing car inspection stickers

MONTICELLO – State Police arrested a Monticello man on two counts of felony grand larceny and two counts of misdemeanor attempted grand larceny in connection with the theft of inspection stickers from automobiles.
The arrest of Brazeley Burns, 53, was the result of an investigation into the reported larceny of several state inspection stickers from vehicles parked at local businesses in the Forestburgh area.  In addition to the actual larcenies, Burns is charged with attempting to steal inspection stickers from other vehicles in the same location.
Burns was sent to the Sullivan County Jail in lieu of $25,000 bail.
