BLOOMINGBURG – State Police arrested a Bloomingburg man on a charge of attempted murder for ramming his SUV into an occupied residence on Burlingham Road in the Town of Mamakating.
The action by Vincent Ryan, Jr., 50, caused serious injury to the intended person, who was the subject of a court order of protection held against Ryan.
The incident resulted in considerable damage to the home.
Ryan was also charged with assault and criminal mischief; all charges are felonies.
Troopers said the incident appears to be the result of a past financial dispute between Ryan and his victim.
