HYDE PARK – The Culinary Institute of America will become an education partner for the Taste NY program by having the Hyde Park college promote New York food and beverage industries.
During the first year, the CIA will create programs targeted to food enthusiasts, including Taste NY-branded boot camps and one-day cooking classes at the college campus along with a series of instrumental cooking videos featuring New York products.
A campus restaurant, American Bounty, will host three Taste NY-themed farmer’s dinners during the fall harvest season this year.
The partnership has the potential to be renewed each year, and as it grows, the college and state will explore opportunities to use the Marriott Pavilion’s theater and conference center at the college to host Taste NY conferences, educational programming, and other events.
