GOSHEN – Orange County Government employees who belong to three unions have new contracts as the county legislature approved them on Thursday.
The Orange County Corrections Officers Benevolent Association’s 280 members have a four-year pact, which is retroactive to January 1, 2012 and expires at the end of this year.  It includes no pay raise in the first two years and 1.5 percent in each of the last two years.
The SUNY Orange Staff and Chairman’s Association and the Faculty Association also had their contracts approved.   Both now have five-year agreements with the same terms – zero percent increase in 2012 and 2013, plus a one-time $1,000 payment in 2013; one percent increase in each year 2014 and 2015; and 1.5 percent raise in 2016.
There are 144 members in the faculty union and 111 in the staff and chairmen’s union.
