WEST NYACK – The woman who fell four
stories to her death at the Palisades Center Mall in West Nyack Thursday
afternoon has been identified by Clarkstown Police at a 42-year-old New
Jersey woman.
Police said Monika Taylor of Haskell, New Jersey fell to the first floor
in what detectives said appears to have been a suicide. She was pronounced
dead shortly after the incident at Nyack Hospital.
Police were alerted to the fall when they received several 911 calls at
around 3:47 p.m. on Thursday.
