GOSHEN – An Orange County Court jury on Friday convicted a Bronx man of possessing a loaded .32 caliber revolver in the area of Dubois Street in the City of Newburgh.
Prosecutors alleged that on March 21, 2014, at about 1:42 a.m., Newburgh Police responded to a complaint of shots fired in the area of a residential neighborhood on Dubois Street.
Police responded and found Davaj Fraizer, 31, of the Bronx with the gun that was loaded with three live roads and three spent casings, indicating the weapon had been fired three times.  As officers approached Fraizer, he fled, resulting in a pursuit that ending with his arrest on Van Ness Street.
Frazier faces seven to 15 years in state prison on each charge when sentenced in March.
