Orange County man convicted in Rockland court of predatory sexual assault against a child

NEW CITY – A Middletown man was convicted by a Rockland County Court jury of sexual assault crimes committed against a child.
Patrick Crowe, 36, of 206 Cottage Street in Middletown, was found guilty of repeatedly molesting a young boy who he knew. The sexual abuse began when the child was eight years old while inside a private home in Congers.
The victim, who suffers from Asperger’s Syndrome, testified before the jury by way of closed circuit television.
Crowe, who remains held without bail, faces up to 25 years to life in state prison when sentenced in June.
He was convicted of predatory sexual assault against a child and course of sexual conduct against a child, both as felonies, and misdemeanor endangering the welfare of a child.
