NEW CITY – A Town of Wallkill man was convicted in Rockland County Court of one count of felony robbery in connection with an armed robbery at the Palisades Center in West Nyack.
At about 2:20 p.m. on May 13, 2014, Devon Thomas, 22, of 16 Patricia
Road in Wallkill, stole an X-Box gaming console from the Best Buy store
at the mall and when a store asset protection officer asked to see a sales
receipt, he pulled a hunting knife and said “not today.”
Clarkstown Police responded to the scene and arrested him.
When sentenced in April, Thomas faces up to seven years in state prison.
