HYDE PARK – The man, who was killed when he came in contact with a low hanging electrical line on the FDR Estate in Hyde Park on Saturday, was identified Monday as a student at the Culinary Institute of America.
Hyde Park Police said Noah Black, 19, of Portsmouth, Rhode Island, was hiking with three other friends when the accident occurred. He was taken to MidHudson Regional Hospital where he died.
Police said there does not appear to be any foul play involved, although the incident remains under investigation.
