Kingston woman accused of threatening housemate with knife

TOWN OF KINGSTON – A Town of Kingston woman was arrested on Monday after she allegedly menaced a housemate with a knife over a property dispute.
Police say the incident occurred at their residence when Emily Battle, 29, unlawfully entered the victim’s bedroom and physically menacing the individual with the knife. Battle was also charged with subjecting the victim to unwanted contact, preventing the person from calling 911 and then punched out a window after the dispute ended.
State Police did not say if the victim was a man or woman.
Battle was charged with felony criminal mischief, misdemeanor menacing, preventing an emergency call and criminal trespass and a violation of harassment.
