Fatal shooting in Dutchess Junction

DUTCHESS JUNCTION – Police Friday investigated a fatal shooting that occurred on Route 9D north of Breakneck Tunnel in Dutchess Junction.
Officials said there is no cause for alarm, but declined to provide additional information as the investigation is in its early stages.
One source said it may have been a suicide.
Fishkill Town and State Police are handling the case.
