POUGHKEEPSIE – Dutchess County Economic
Development Corporation President Catherine Maloney is stepping down from
her post effective in April.

Maloney, who joined the EDC in 2008 as director of development, was promoted
to interim president in January 2012 and permanent president in April
of the same year.

“After a great deal of introspection, I have decided to leave my
position and follow an entirely new direction in my career,” Maloney
said.

Board Chairman Edward Kellogg said Maloney “has provided excellent
leadership and professionalism for the DCEDC, and leaves us in a strong
position financially and organizationally.”

County Executive Marcus Molinaro said Maloney has been “a great
partner in efforts to charter a new course for our economy.”
