GOSHEN – Three members of the Wawayanda Six – Madeline Shaw,
Pramilla Malick and actor James Cromwell – reported to the Orange
County Jail late Friday afternoon to begin serving a seven-day sentence
for disorderly conduct.

Dozens of supporters were on hand to cheer them on and condemn the CPV
power plant, which is under construction in Wawayanda. Those three, along
with three others, blocked the construction entrance to the facility over
a year ago and were found guilty recently in town court.

The other three members paid the $375 fines, but Shaw, Malick and Cromwell
refused saying they would rather face jail time.

Prior to driving to the jail, the three held a rally outside the power
plant calling on the governor to shut it down and criticizing the planned
use of fracked natural gas to power the facility.
