LIVINGSTON MANOR – A 38-year-old Livingston Manor man is in the Sullivan County Jail after he allegedly tried to pull off two robberies in the hamlet.
State Police said on March 16, Ollen Eck III robbed the Sunoco gas station in Livingston Manor and two days later, attempted to rob the Dollar General store just up the road.
Eck was arrested in the Town of Thompson on April 9 and charged with robbery for the gas station incident and attempted robbery for the Dollar General crime.
He was arraigned and remanded.
State Police were assisted by the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office and Monticello Village Police.
The investigation is continuing and anyone with information is asked to call the troopers at 845-292-6600.
