POUGHKEEPSIE – The New York State Office of Cannabis Management has issued a provisional license for a marijuana dispensary to open on Main Street in the City of Poughkeepsie. The city’s common council was notified of the application on Tuesday.
Black Market Canna Co LLC received its provisional license and plans to secure full licensure with the state shortly.
The retail marijuana dispensary will occupy the building located at 89 Main Street, located between Clover Street and Davies Place, near the Poughkeepsie train station.
The building, currently owned by RPC Main Street Corp. has been vacant for decades.
