ASCEND to new heights of health in Sullivan

LIBERTY- To educate community members on ongoing programs and program achievements, Cornell Cooperative Extension Sullivan County’s (CCESC) Creating Healthy Schools and Communities (CHSC) invites all to ASCEND to new heights of health in Sullivan County at the Extension Education Center at 64 Ferndale-Loomis Road in Liberty.  The program will take place on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Participants are welcome to meet the CHSC staff as they present on the program’s goals and achievements, network with more CCESC staff and their various programs, and enjoy free refreshments and snacks along the way!

Creating Healthy Schools and Communities (CHSC), funded by the NYS Department of Health, is a five-year grant effort utilizing a coordinated, multi-sector approach to increase demand for and access to healthy, affordable foods and opportunities for daily physical activity to reduce the risk of chronic disease in high-need communities and school districts.
