POUGHKEEPSIE – Marist College is once again holding Anthony’s Walk. The event raises awareness and funds to improve the lives of local veterans in need. The 22-minute walk around the Marist campus is named after Anthony Gray, a Marine Corps veteran who was killed in Poughkeepsie in 2020. The length of the walk marks the fact that an average of 22 veterans take their own lives every day in America.

The event is co-sponsored by Marist College and VetZero Heroes, with all proceeds going towards vital programs for veterans, including the Liberty Station housing complex in Poughkeepsie.

Participation in Anthony’s Walk is free, and all are welcome to attend. There is no registration required and the event will take place rain or shine.

Please arrive by 10 a.m.
