Shots fired near high school

MONTICELLO – Shots were fired between two parties in broad daylight on Forestburgh Road near the high school in Monticello on Tuesday. No one was reported injured.

Initial reports from the scene said young men on a scooter fired shots at a car and a person in the vehicle fired back.

Several police agencies responded to the scene in the village.
