NEW ROCHELLE – Police in New Rochelle are investigating an armed robbery of New Rochelle Wines at 558 North Avenue.
The incident occurred minutes before 7 p.m. on Wednesday when they said a man entered the store, pulled a gun, and demanded the clerk hand over cash from the register.
The suspect fled southbound on North Avenue on a black motorcycle with no license plates.
The gunman is described as about five feet, 10 inches tall, of an unknown race, wearing a gray motorcycle helmet, gray backpack, black pants, blue jacket with gray sleeves and a red hooded sweatshirt.
