CORNWALL – On Sunday, February 19 from 4 to 6 p.m., join the Hudson Highlands Nature Museum (HHNM) for ‘Nature on Ice,’ a winter celebration to benefit HHNM’s educational programs and animal ambassadors.

This special gathering will take place at the Outdoor Discovery Center location, 120 Muser Drive off Angola Road in Cornwall, and features an ice throne, an ice bar with accompanying ice glasses, ice carvings of woodland creatures, and a live carving demonstration by local artist Bill Bywater. Enjoy beer, wine, and warm beverages from the open bar, as well as passed hors d’oeuvres. Stay warm by the fire pits and heaters on this wonderful wintery afternoon. This adults-only event will be held entirely outdoors. Please dress accordingly.

According to HHNM’s Director of Development Jessica Oliveri, “The first ‘Nature on Ice’ cocktail party exceeded our expectations, and this year’s event is poised to be even better than the last! Join us in a wonderland of woodland ice carvings and lights to lift a glass made of ice and toast to supporting nature education and play at the Nature Museum”.

Tickets begin at $75 and are available for purchase at HHNM.org or by calling Jessica Oliveri at (845) 534-5506 ext 215. Visit HHNM.org for more information.
