POUGHKEEPSIE – The City of Poughkeepsie Police Department’s “Winter Wonderland” is opening for one night only, on Saturday, December 17th, at the Public Safety Building at 505 Main Sreet.
The event was originally scheduled for both Friday and Saturday nights but the forecast is calling for stormy weather on Friday, according to City of Poughkeepsie PBA President Kevin Van Wagner.
The Winter Wonderland, operating from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Saturday, allows visitors to walk or drive through the numerous holiday displays as well as decorated police and fire apparatus.
Santa Claus will be at the event to hear from the boys and girls who visit.
