MID-HUDSON – On the last weekend before the Tuesday general election that will pave the way for the direction of the state going forward, Democratic Governor Kathy Hochul and Republican challenger Congressman Lee Zeldin held rallies in the region.
Zeldin made pit stops in Putnam, Dutchess and Orange counties while Hochul held a rally in Kingston.
Hochul has been taken heat from Republicans about her criminal justice reforms and Zeldin has been criticized for voting against certification of the presidential election last January.
