BEACON – A Beacon man was arrested on Friday and charged with assault and two counts of criminal possession of a weapon in connection with the attack on his brother.
Beacon Police said on Thursday, a man walked into the police station with several injuries to his head.
He said he had been assaulted by his brother, identified as Brian Duff, who struck him in the head with a gun and stabbed him.
Officers responded to a residence on Hudson Avenue in an attempt to locate the brother, but it was determined he had fled the scene.
On Friday detectives learned that Duff was at a residence outside the city. He was located and placed into custody without incident.
