CLARKSTOWN – A 30-year-old Brooklyn man was killed when the vehicle was driving on the southbound Palisades Interstate Parkway in the Town of Clarkstown ran off the road and struck a tree.
State Police from the Haverstraw barracks identified the victim of the 2 a.m. crash on Friday, April 1 as Gustavo Merino-Moreno.
The investigation is ongoing and police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the vehicle, a red 2002 Chevrolet Silverado with South Carolina license plates, before the crash to contact Senior Investigator Carmen Goffredo or Investigator Eric Haydt.
