YORKTOWN – A 50-year-old New Rochelle man lost his life when his 2018 Ford Explorer ran off the Taconic State Parkway and struck a tree.
State Police identified the victim as Kurt Perez, who crashed at 12:20 a.m. on Sunday while driving in wet conditions. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Yorktown Fire Department and Empress EMS were on the scene before troopers arrived.
The investigation into the cause of the crash is continuing.
