COXSACKIE – Two Capital District men have been arrested for allegedly stealing copper and electrical supplies from the Route 9W Solar Farm Project in the Town of Coxsackie in late January.

State Police at Catskill charged Keith Douglas, 31, of Schenectady and Desmond Morgan, 29, of Albany with two counts each of felony grand larceny.

The men allegedly stole over $50,000 worth of copper and aluminum from the job site on two occasions and sold it for scrap in capital district scrap yards.
