TOWN OF WALLKILL – A Middletown resident was killed in a head-on collision that occurred on Friday, February 25 on Route 211 in Wallkill. The New York State Police are investigating the accident.
State Troopers responded to the fatal crash at 10:30 p.m. Friday night. The preliminary investigation indicates that a pickup truck operated by Montgomery resident Bruce White was traveling east on Route 211 and collided with a westbound Scion driven by 56-year-old Middletown resident Victor Hernandez. The Middletown man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Mr. White was treated for non-life-threatening injuries at the scene. Police say that neither driver appears to have been impaired.
