PATTERSON – Human remains found during excavation work at property of a new home being constructed in the Town of Patterson are believed to that of a white female approximately between the age of 16 and 28 years of age, State Police said Thursday.

Authorities said while the investigation is still in its infancy, investigators believe she has been dead for more than 10 years.

Investigators have also confirmed the victim had extensive dental work.

Anyone with possible information as to the identity of the woman is asked to call the State Police at 845-677-7300.

Investigators from the State Police and Carmel Town Police can confirm that the DNA sample collected does not match the profile of Robin Murphy, who has been missing for years.
