Three minor injuries in school bus accident

GOSHEN – Two school buses en route to BOCES in Goshen collided on Thursday afternoon when one stopped short and the other struck it from behind.

The mishap, on Matthews Street near the Route 17 exit ramp, resulted in one driver, a bus observer and one student sustaining minor injuries, said Goshen Village Police Chief James Watt.

The buses belong to a private company. One driver was ticketed, the chief said.
