Red Hook man arrested for forcible touching of child

RED HOOK – State Police from the Rhinebeck barracks, in conjunction with the Dutchess County Child Advocay Center and Child Protective Services arrested a Red Hook man on charges of forcible touching and endangering the welfare of a child, both as misdemeanors.

After receiving a law enforcement tip, investigators determined that Paul Butler, 33, allegedly forcibly touched the intimate parts of a child under the age of 17. The victim was familiar with Butler.

He was arraigned and released on his own recognizance.
