MIDDLETOWN – Orange County Legislator Michael Paduch is fighting COVID-19 at home after being hospitalized for weeks. His wife, Rose, who also suffered from the virus, lost her battle with the deadly disease, Paduch announced on Facebook on Monday.
“Please understand that I am devastated from the loss of my beautiful, caring, compassionate wife Rose,” he wrote. “We both were in the hospital for weeks but not together.”
He said he is now “fighting the battle… with blood clots in my lungs. But I will win this battle for my Rosie however it takes. Please pray for me and my girls.”
