CITY OF HUDSON – All three suspects in the late morning shooting of a man in the City of Hudson on April 29 have been apprehended by city police.

The victim had been shot in the leg and was transported to Albany Medical Center for emergency treatment. He has since been released.

Following a nearly four-month investigation, all three suspects were arrested and charged with attempted murder with a gun and conspiracy, as felonies.

Joshua Wallace, 20, of Hudson, was arrested during a gang sweep and remanded to the Columbia County Jail on $10,000 cash bail or bond.

Joseph Nicoletti, 20, of Copake was remanded on $50,000 cash bail or $100,000 bond.

A 17-year-old from Hudson was arraigned in the Youth Section of Columbia County Court and remanded to a secure juvenile detention facility where he remains.

The State Police and Columbia County District Attorney’s Office assisted with the investigation.

“HPD will always do its part and work very hard to hold people accountable for their actions,” said Chief L. Edward Moore. “Our small department is focused on getting the job done. If you look at the major cases we’ve handled and the coordination with State Police and the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office, it’s remarkable. Very proud of our team.”
