CONNELLY – A 30-year-old hamlet of Connelly man was remanded to the Ulster County Jail on bail following a stabbing during an argument between two neighbors, the Ulster County Sheriff’s Office said.
On May 16 at about 7:20 p.m., deputies investigating the incident and determined the victim was stabbed once in the upper chest with a pocketknife. He was treated and released at the hospital.
Charged with felony assault and misdemeanor criminal possession of a weapon was Richard Connolly.
He was remanded in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or $50,000 bond pending a future court appearance.
The sheriff’s office was assisted at the scene by State Police.
